　　The year 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Greece. For half a century, the two ancient civilizations each with a long and splendid history have established a good relationship based on mutual admiration, learning, understanding and help. In China-Greece dialogues and cooperation, the two countries have showed the world the ideal way of getting along between countries, and also the broad prospects in win-win cooperation between countries. China and Greece are two similar ancient civilizations with good mutual understanding and sound relations. A main way to further deepen the relationship between China and Greece is to promote the cultural exchange and mutual learning between them.

　　2022年是中国与希腊建交50周年。半个世纪以来，两个拥有悠久灿烂历史的文明古国相互欣赏、借鉴、理解、帮助，在对话与合作中，用东西古老文明的智慧诠释了国与国之间理想的相处之道，也用实际行动向世界展示了国与国之间合作共赢的广阔前景。两大古老文明相似、相知、相亲“文明交流互鉴”，是中希关系的一条鲜明主线。

　　Greece is the cradle of western civilization, while China is the representative of the eastern civilizations. The two countries have composed a story about the interaction between an ancient western civilization and an ancient eastern civilization. As the heads of the two countries said, civilizations can coexist harmoniously and learn from each other. During his visit to Greece, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that we can maintain stable and healthy development of China-Greece relationship in the turbulent and uncertain international situation because we can draw wisdom from our histories, maintain a peaceful and inclusive attitude towards each other’s development, and promote mutually beneficial cooperation from a long-term strategic perspective. The former Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou said that the dialogue between Greece and China symbolized the cooperation between the West and the East. China-Greece relationship is a model of win-win cooperation between countries with different cultures. The two countries have consolidated their traditional friendship, and will have more frequent high-level exchanges as well as constantly deepening political mutual trust. China-Greece relationship is becoming a model of peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation between countries with different systems and cultures.

　　希腊是西方文明的摇篮，中国是东方古老文明的代表，历史悠久的东西方文明延续至今，谱写了一段文明互动的佳话。诚如两国元首所言，文明是能够和谐共存、交融互鉴的。中国国务委员兼外长王毅访问希腊时表示，中希关系之所以能在动荡不确定的国际局势中保持稳定健康发展，在于我们都能从千年文明滋养中汲取智慧，秉持平和包容心态看待对方的发展，善于从长远战略角度规划推进互利合作。希腊前总理乔治·帕潘德里欧表示，希中之间的文明对话，象征了西方和东方的合作。中希关系是不同文化国家合作共赢典范，中希传统友谊得以巩固，高层交往更为频繁，政治互信不断加深。中希关系正成为不同制度、不同文化国家之间和平相处、合作共赢的典范。

　　The China-Greece Art Exhibition, which is a special invitational exhibition for celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Greece, is held in Athens. This event is not only a powerful response to such arguments as “clash of civilizations”; it also demonstrates the ideal way for the cultural exchange and mutual learning between different countries. The Olympic spirit, which originated in ancient Greece, is still inspiring human beings to become more united. The core values of peace and friendship are also the common humanistic spirits of the Chinese civilization and ancient Greek civilization.

　　为此希腊雅典艺术院、中欧文化交流中心、北京画馆特别举办“中希雅典艺术展——庆祝中国希腊建交50周年特别邀请展”活动，此次活动不仅是对“文明冲突”等论调的有力回击，更对人类文明交流互鉴具有示范意义。发祥于古希腊的奥林匹克精神，至今映照着全人类走向“更团结”。和平与友谊的核心价值观也是中华文明与古希腊文明相通的人文精神。
